Seeing Dad
I got here at 8:30 this morning and my brother was waiting at the airport for me. we came by mom and dad's house to get mom and drop off my luggage, then we went up to see dad. My mom, brother and I just got back to the house after spending a couple of hours with daddy. He's sedated and his vitals look good. Heart rate in the low 70s, blood pressure (resting 91/49, during the insertion of the feeding tube it went up to 114/55 or so, and his O2 saturation level is 99%. We are hoping to have the biopsy results back either this afternoon or early tomorrow. All in all, I am very hopeful. So glad I got a little smile out of him and he squeezed my hand when I stood next to his bed and told him I am here. (hard to do with all those tubes hanging out of his mouth and nose!) Lets all continue to believe in the power of prayer!

He's a very special man. I am quite tired right now, but don't want to take a nap in fear of throwing my schedule off. I will go to bed early tonight. Going in search of food now ... I'm just a wee tad hungry! Sheri, you know the few little nibbles I had yesterday? Well, that and a quick snack/drink from Starbucks is all I've had!
